Responsibilities
Anticipate the customers’ needs
Having a global view of what needs to be done at all times in all areas of the bar: layout, entrance hall, floor, toilets, (private and/or public) events…
Having full knowledge of how the ordering tablets and payment terminals work and making sure they are working properly
Know the Food and Drinks Menu inside out
Manage the waiting team:
- Organise the different tasks: ordering, serving, cleaning… and assign them to the right person
- Have a rotational system in place for a fair attribution of the tasks
- Making sure of the quality of the service at all times
- Training and coaching the waiters
- On the content of the menus
- On the layout of the bar
- On the functioning of the tablets and terminals
- On customer service
Practice active listening to be able to solve internal problems
Debriefing the team
Communicate with the Bar Team and General Manager
You have experience in a similar environment and you are able to demonstrate an excellent level of leadership in a team environment.
